The very purpose of K'Cholmim is to present a unified vision--a Dream--of what Israel means, and what it means to be a Jew in today's world given the reality of the miracle of Israel. That said, it is no coincidence that deciding where to categorize the majority of these books was not as simple a task as one would think. Indeed, the links between Am Yisrael (the Nation), Eretz Yisrael, and Torat Yisrael are strong, and this is evident in many of the works cited here.

As a result of this, I have decided to only include works that are more secular in nature under the category of Eretz Yisrael. This is not to say that they are not often spiritual! Indeed they are, many of these books have left me crying, and all have had moments where I thought I was dreaming. These are the books of dreamers! Not because the events described are a fiction, they are a reality, but because this is the stuff dreams are made of.
